At BIG FISH Ltd., we take data privacy and security seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with our Atlassian Marketplace application: AutoWorklog: Jira Automation Action ("the App").

Unlike traditional cloud apps, our App is built using the Atlassian Forge framework. This means it operates entirely within your own Atlassian Cloud ecosystem.

1. Personal Data and User Content: Zero Storage

đź”’ Our Core Principle: We do not store, host, collect, or transmit your Jira data.

No Data Collection: The App does not collect, mirror, or extract any personal data, user profiles, Jira issue details, worklogs, webhook payloads, or credentials.

No External Database: BIG FISH Ltd. does not maintain any external servers or databases to store your operational data.

Ephemeral Processing: Any data processed by the App (such as calculating time logs or reading webhook fields) occurs entirely in memory within the secure Atlassian Cloud infrastructure. Once the automation execution finishes, the data is instantly dropped.

2. Marketplace and Administrative Data (What We Do Receive)

To manage app installations, subscriptions, and support requests, we only receive limited transactional metadata provided directly by the Atlassian Marketplace API.

This information includes:

  • License Information: Technical contact name, company name, email address, billing address, and subscription status (e.g., active, trialing, expired).
  • Usage Metrics: General, non-identifiable statistics provided by Atlassian regarding installation dates and active user tiers.

How we use this data: We use this administrative data strictly to provide customer support, verify license status, and comply with tax and accounting regulations. We will never sell, rent, or trade this information.

3. Data Security & Third-Party Processing

Because the App runs on Atlassian Forge, the infrastructure hosting the software is fully managed, secured, and maintained by Atlassian.

All data in transit within the application execution loop is encrypted using Atlassian’s enterprise-grade security protocols.

4. GDPR Compliance (For Users in the EEA/EU)

As a company established in Hungary (EU), BIG FISH Ltd. fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Since we do not store or process your Jira end-user data, BIG FISH Ltd. does not act as a Data Processor for your operational workflows. However, regarding the Marketplace Administrative Data mentioned in Section 2, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or request the deletion of the administrative contact information we hold.
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your business contact email for support updates.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect minor technical changes or regulatory updates. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
